A star is a superstar until someone who shines brighter comes along.
If you can find a warrior who believes in strength beyond his own, a
natural welterweight who bears a record deserving to compete with Manny
Pacquiao and one who has the offense of an Erik Morales, the defense of a
Joshua Clottey (when he fought Pacquiao) and the counter punching skill
of a Juan Manuel Marquez, then that’s the man who can beat a Manny
Pacquiao at the top of his game today.
Beyond power, size and youthfulness or experience, faith in the right place
and boxing abilities such as those rolled into one need to be found in any
legitimate challenger for Pacquiao who wishes to dethrone this era’s best
pound-for-pound technician with hard chin and tremendous punching
explosiveness.

An MGM Grand Welcome For Manny Pacquiao, Shane Mosley: Photos & Quotes

LAS VEGAS – They started hovering around the make-shift ring in the lobby and the front entrance at MGM Grand an hour before the first of the custom-designed buses were scheduled to arrive.
First, a little after 11 a.m., came the Shane Mosley bus. Then, at a tad after 1, the bus carrying Manny Pacquiao and his team rolled onto the property.
By the time Pacquiao stepped inside the MGM, several hundred vocal, animated fans, most carrying cameras and chanting his name, and media, including dozens of TV crews, had jammed into the area.
This Saturday, May 7, at the sold-out MGM Grand Garden Arena, eight-division world champion Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 KOs), of General Santos City, Philippines, will defend his WBO welterweight title against three-division world champion Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KOs), of Pomona, Calif., in the main event of a four-fight telecast produced and distributed live by SHOWTIME PPV® beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

There are a lot of fans that don t believe that I can do it. Maybe because of the last couple of fights, but things have changed and I feel great; I feel good. I m just ready to go.
I believe Sugar Shane Mosley when he said that. And with the kind of push and motivation, challenge, training, conditioning, preparation and sacrifices he has had heading to his forthcoming showdown with the heavy favorite boxing master Pacman, he is most likely to win the bout but well against the opponents who defeated him or serve him a draw in the past from Vernon Forrest to Sergio Mora if he will be given a chance to turn the clock back and do it again.
