MAYWEATHER-ORTIZ IS A BIG INSULT TO THE SPORT AND BOXING FANS
By Reni M. Valenzuela
Floyd Mayweather Jr. fighting Victor Ortiz on September 17 means only one thing: Pretty Boy would rather lose to any fighter on the planet but Manny Pacquiao. And that’s how gigantic his ego is.
Don’t be fooled. The fight is just another excuse and ploy by Floyd to alter destiny and avoid being included among Manny Pacquiao’s casualties for the pound-for-pound king to rise even higher from where he is now at the expense of him, the perfectly wily boxer who has the penchant to wear different masks before the public.
The fight is a great disservice to the sport and a big insult to boxing aficionados worldwide. We have been clamoring that Mayweather faces Pacquiao and here he is easily making a fight but with a different southpaw champion who has the capability to serve him his first loss though at least not at hands of a man he hates and envies so much. read More… «MAYWEATHER-ORTIZ IS A BIG INSULT TO THE SPORT AND BOXING FANS»
FLOYD MAYWEATHER RETURNS TO FACE VICTOR ORTIZ ON SEPTEMBER 17
The Biggest, The Brightest and The Best To Meet September 17
In Mexican Independence Day Weekend Match-Up
Las Vegas, NV - The wait is over and once again Floyd “Money” Mayweather delivers as the undefeated six-time world champion announced today via his Twitter account @floydmayweather that he will return to the ring on Saturday, September 17, to face the hard-hitting and explosive current WBC Welterweight World Champion “Vicious” Victor Ortiz in what is now the biggest international boxing event of 2011.
The announcement of the fight, which will take place on Mexican Independence Day weekend, widely considered boxing’s biggest weekend, sends shock waves across the sports pages as there is no denying that the younger, stronger and current champion Ortiz poses an extremely credible threat to Mayweather, who returns to the ring after a 16-month hiatus. It is a highly competitive and very dangerous match-up that will give fans a chance to see the sport’s biggest star against the sport’s newest star in one ring on one very special night of boxing action.
Who can push a fool who never made headways to run in a race he is so proud to have conquered?
Floyd Mayweather Jr. will never run out of excuses to avoid a humiliating defeat at the hands of a “poor boy” from a poor but fighting country. Delivering him the brutal beating of his life by a man he taunted and falsely accused of many things.
That’s why Floyd will not accept any offer outside of what is impossible to fight a revengeful Manny Pacquiao. Or else the fight would validate his sore points overwhelmingly enough to crush his pride to pieces and expose him further merely as a huge bluff and perfect dud as he knows perfectly well that the fight may invoke ominous
danger for him in countless ways. Read More… «PACQUIAO-MAYWEATHER DANCE: FINALLY!»
