IT’S A TRIPLE THREAT FOR AUGUST’s “FIGHT NIGHT CLUB”
UNBEATENS RONNIE RIOS, JAMIE KAVANAGH AND ROBERTO REYES IN FEATURED BOUTS
LOS ANGELES – Summer’s here and the time is right for more of boxing’s hit series “Fight Night Club,” as Golden Boy Promotions and AEG present another hard-hitting card featuring talented up-and-comers Ronny Rios, Jamie Kavanagh and Roberto Reyes on Thursday, August 26 at L.A. LIVE’s Club Nokia.
In the main event, Santa Ana’s Rios battles the Dominican Republic’s Leivi Brea in a six round junior lightweight bout.
With a record of 11-0 with 5 KO’s, 20-year-old junior lightweight prospect Ronny Rios has found a home at Club Nokia, as he’s scored three victories at “Fight Night Club” series over the last year. In May, Rios moved across the street to STAPLES Center and kept his winning streak going with a six round win over Guadalupe De Leon and it’s probably not the last time we’ll be seeing this talented youngster on the big stage.

LOS ANGELES, March 24 - Before top bantamweight contender Abner Mares takes on Colombian veteran Felipe Almanza in the ten round main event of the March 25 edition of the hit series “Fight Night Club” this Thursday night, the next generation of boxing stars will take to the ring at L.A. LIVE’s Club Nokia for another action-packed night of fistic fireworks.
Heading up the televised undercard on Fox Sports Net and RingTV.com will be a six round clash between unbeaten Santa Ana product Ronny Rios against the always-tough Andres Ledesma, and a four round junior featherweight matchup between Derrick Wilson and Adam Ochoa.

LOS ANGELES, March 9 - Top bantamweight contender Abner Mares is closing in on a world title shot in 2010, but before he can challenge for a championship belt, he will have to get through another tough battle, this time against Colombian veteran Felipe Almanza in the ten-round main event of the March 25 edition of the hit series “Fight Night Club” at L.A. LIVE’s Club Nokia.
Also in action will be junior featherweight prospect Derrick Wilson facing undefeated Khabir Suleymanov in the televised co-featured bout as well as undefeated featherweight prospect Ronny Rios.

LOS ANGELES, February 25 – The second season premiere of Golden Boy Promotions and AEG’s “Fight Night Club” series is here taking place tonight at L.A. LIVE’s Club Nokia and has quickly become the hottest ticket in Los Angeles, with only only a limited number of tickets left to see “Vicious” Victor Ortiz take on Hector Alatorre in the main event, along with a host of Southern California’s hottest prospects, including Charles Huerta, Luis Ramos Jr. and Carlos Molina.
With the new season, there will be new and exciting changes to the series, including the addition of Power 106′s Tattoo as the emcee of the evening. LOS ANGELES (February 24) – As the 2010 boxing season kicks into full swing, big name sponsors are excited to be a part of the critically acclaimed and popular “Fight Night Club” presented by Golden Boy Promotions and AEG. The first season produced unprecedented enthusiasm for the sport of boxing in Los Angeles and the second season is back from L.A. LIVE’s Club Nokia with more excitement for round two and is backed by hard-hitting sponsors.
