IBO Approves Super Featherweight Eliminator Bout With Miguel Roman vs Tyrone Harris With Winner to Fight Salgado For World Title
Las Vegas, NV – Promoter Roy Englebrecht announced Sunday that top contender Juan Carlos Salgado injured his hand on Friday and will not fight Tyrone Harris
for the IBO Super Featherweight World Title, Wednesday, September 15th at the
Las Vegas Hilton. But not to lose a fight on his Viva Mexico At Las Vegas Televisa
and PPV show, Englebrecht was able to get the IBO to approve an Eliminator
bout between Harris and 30-7 Miguel Roman, with the winner facing Salgado
for the World Title.
In the featured bout on the six bout card, IBO Featherweight Champion
Jackson Asiku puts his belt on the line against former world champion Jhonny
Gonzalez.
The show set for the Hilton Theater on Wednesday the 15th also featured
former Miami Hurricane football star Quadrine Hill vs Yohan Banks in a good
heavyweight matchup.
Doors open at 6pm on the 15th with the first bout at 6:30pm and tickets are
priced at $25 to $75. The entire six bout card will be televised on PPV with In
Demand, and the two title fights will be shown in Mexico on Televisa.
