Stivens Bujaj Headlines against Victor Barragan this Weekend in Tacoma, WA

Stivens BujajTacoma, WA – Top ten American cruiserweight, Stivens “Superman” Bujaj (11-0, 8 KOs), is set to make his next appearance this weekend when he takes on California’s Victor Barragan (12-7, 3 KOs) in the 10 round main event of Battle at the Boat 95 at the Emerald Queen Casino. A six bout undercard is also scheduled throughout the evening, featuring Fife’s Cameron Sevilla-Rivera (2-0, 2 KOs) and Buckley’s Jeremy McCleary (2-0) who are on the fast track since making their professional debuts.

A limited amount of tickets for Battle at the Boat 95, scheduled for Saturday, March 22nd at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, WA are still available and can be purchased at the EQC box office and online through Ticketmaster. Prices start at $25.

The 23 year old, Stivens Bujaj, has put the petal to the medal since making his professional debut in 2010, accumulating an 11-0 record with eight knockouts. In Bujaj’s last appearance, he earned the USA New York State cruiserweight title, knocking out Elvin Sanchez in the first round of the scheduled eight round bout. The success comes as no surprise to Bujaj, who after his last fight stated to www.secondsout.com that he wanted to take a shot at the top ten by the end of 2014. With only 11 professional fights on his undefeated record, Bujaj is certainly on the right track to become a true contender in the cruiserweight division.

In the final years of his amateur career, Bujaj competed in the prestigious New York Golden Gloves tournament, being named the heavyweight champion in both 2009 and 2010.

Bujaj’s opponent at Battle at the Boat 95, Victor Barragan, will be making his third appearance at the Emerald Queen Casino when he steps into the ring on March 22nd. Barragan’s career highlight came in 2009 when he TKO’d Arthur Williams (47-17-1, 30 KOs) in the seventh round for the interim WBC United States cruiserweight title.

Also scheduled is a stacked six fight undercard, all four rounds, featuring the Northwest’s most promising young boxers, including Fife’s hard hitting Cameron Sevilla-Rivera and Buckley’s amateur standout, Jeremy McCleary.

Jeremy McCleary (2-0) vs. Corben Page (4-8-1) at 128 Lbs.
