Battle at the Boat 78: Fight Night to the Playboy Mansion

Brent Urban (6-2-1) vs. Jason Douglas (7-2)

Francisco Reyes (5-1) vs. Heder Rivas (6-1)

(Tacoma, WA) – Brian Halquist Productions presents: Fight Night to the Playboy Mansion, as a part of the Battle at the Boat professional boxing series. The 78th installment is August 28, 2010 at the Emerald Queen Casino. The EQC will welcome seven of the most beautiful playmates in the world to this event, and will feature a ring card girl competition that will give one lucky lady the chance to represent the EQC at the Playboy Mansion! These girls will highlight a boxing show that will already be filled with 6 action packed fights, headlined by main event fighters Brent “Hurricane” Urban (6-2-1, 4 KO’s) and Jason “Friday the 13th” Douglas (7-2, 3 KO’s).

Brent “Hurricane” Urban hails from Dallas, Texas. Urban began his professional boxing career back in January of 2009 and has quickly accumulated an impressive (6-2-1, 4 KO’s) record in his first nine professional fights. Urban has already made a name for himself as a brawler and is ready to take on any fighter within the Cruiserweight division. His opponent, Jason “Friday the 13th” Douglas (7-2, 3 KO’s) is from Ontario, Canada. An impressive amateur career (76-12, 26 KO’s) led to his Commonwealth Heavyweight Championship back in 2002. In that tournament, Douglas defeated current undefeated prospects Kertson Manswell (20-0), Shane Cameron (26-2), and current WBA Heavyweight Champion David Haye (24-1). This fight promises to be a war from start to finish!

Also on the card will be a 5 round featured bout between Federal Way’s, “Vicious” Vincent Thompson (4-0, 1 KO) and Everett’s, Villi “The Tongan Warrior” Bloomfield (9-4-1, 4 KO’s). These two have already fought twice as amateurs twelve years ago, and both times Bloomfield defeated Thompson. Thompson’s undefeated professional record will be on the line, as he faces his former nemesis, in hopes to settle the score, once and for all.

In other action, Seattle’s own Francisco “El Elegante” Reyes (5-1, 2 KO’s) will face Heder Rivas (6-1, 1 KO) out of San Fernando, CA. Reyes, who last fought in New York, earlier this year, will look to rebound from his first professional loss. Reyes is undefeated at the Emerald Queen Casino and is looking to continue that winning streak with this fight.
